Here are this week’s top tips on all things sport and racing

I will take a multi with three of the One Day Internationals that are taking place this weekend.

I will combine Afghanistan to beat Ireland into South Africa to defeat Sri Lanka and India to defeat Australia. The multi price is $2.19.

In novelty markets I am backing Shaun Marsh to be the leading runscorer for Australia at $5 and Virat Kohli to top score for India at $2.75.

Virat Kohli remains in sublime form and I have backed him at $5 to be Man Of The Match.

Perth and Melbourne have been the best two sides all season and they meet in the Grand Final Playoff series. Game one gets underway tonight and with home floor advantage the Perth Wildcats will take some stopping. I am happy to back them at the line to win by 3 points or more at $1.85 and take that in some multis this weekend.

This weekend I will opt for a four leg multi which requires Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester City to all win their matches. The multi price is $3.04.

There are only two games on this weekend in the A-League. I will have a small multi on Western Sydney into Wellington. The multi price is $4.60.

I’ll have a three leg multi which needs Tony Martin, Tim Means and Junior Dos Santos to win their respective bouts. The multi is paying $3.25.

A stellar day of racing at both Flemington and Randwick with Group 1 races galore.

My best bets of the weekend are as follows :

Flemington Saturday Race 2 Number 7 Grey Worm (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $2.35) : Lightly raced 4 year old who has had 5 starts for 3 wins and 2 placings. Since returning from a break has managed a win and a close-up second and appears well served by the step up in distance to 1400 metres. Has proven very reliable in his career to date and should be hard to hold out in this event

Flemington Saturday Race 6 Number 2 Santa Ana Lane (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $9.50) : High quality sprinter who looks a tremendous each way chance in a race dripping with class. Last time he was seen here up the straight over 1200 metres produced a devastating turn of foot to steam home to victory in the VRC Classic. Another of my favourite horses Osborne Bulls is in this race and looks hard to beat but at the price I’ll take the punt on Santa Ana Lane.

Flemington Saturday Race 8 Number 7 Avilius (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $1.85) : Former French stayer who is dead-set flying since coming to Australia. Has resumed from a break and gone bang! bang! with two effortless victories over 1600 metres and 1800 metres. Up to 2000 metres here which looks ideal and from barrier one should get a nice cosy run in transit. Looks the Multi Banker of the day.

Ascot Saturday Race 3 Number 4 Carocapo (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $2.50): Has resumed from an injury enforced break in sparkling form and was an impressive winner two back at Pinjarra. Had no luck last start when placed from a wide draw and this time around has the luxury of the plum draw in barrier 1. From there should be able to find the front and dominate the race.

Mandurah Friday Race 4 Number 8 It’s The Horse (No Fixed Odds Available) : Box eight specialist who has had 8 tries in pink for 6 wins. Drops right back in class here and with a safe start should take some running down. The dog in box one Rockstar Toovey is well drawn and they look a nice quinella play. Other nice bets on the card look to be 5-1 Dusty Mac and 6-1 Naiqama.
