Here are this week’s top tips on all things sport and racing

I’ll take a multi with the Perth Wildcats to cover the line and win by 7 points or more against the Bullets into Melbourne United to cover the line and defeat Cairns by 9 points or more. The multi is paying $3.61.

In the A-League this weekend my multi requires Melbourne City and Sydney FC to win their matches this round. The multi price is $3.09.

I will take a multi which requires Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Leicester to win their EPL fixtures this weekend. The multi price is $3.04.

I’m taking a multi which needs Mike Perry, Mark De La Rosa, Devonte Smith and Luis Pena to all win their respective bouts this weekend. The multi price is $4.20.

A stunning day of racing to look forward to at Flemington for Mackinnon Stakes Day while locally the card at Ascot is first class.

My best bets of the weekend are as follows:

Flemington Saturday  Race 5 Number 7 Jaameh (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $4.80) : Last time out ran third behind A Prince of Arran at this track over 2500 metres in the Hotham Handicap and that form now looks excellent with A Prince Of Arran running third in the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday. Prior to that was beaten a narrow margin behind the talented Avilius. Racing well and this looks a perfect assignment at each way odds.

Flemington Saturday Race 8 Number 3 Blair House (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $2.10) : Charlie Appleby trained 6 year old who was excellent last start when beaten a nose behind Benbatl in the Caulfield Stakes. Benbatl has since franked that form by running a quality second behind Winx in the Cox Plate. Drawn beautifully in barrier 2 and should get the cash.

Ascot Saturday Race 1 Number 1 Pablo’s Poem (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $2.60) Quality 3 year old who stepped up to race the older horses last start and was a tremendous effort when 5th behind Stageman beaten just 1.5 lengths. Drops back to his own age group again here where he has had 4 tries for 2 wins and 2 seconds. Should get a sweet run in transit and looks hard to beat.

Ascot Saturday Race 5 Number 10 Missile Launch (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $5) : Classy 5 year old who has won 6 of his 12 career starts and should be ready to fire at his third run back from a break. Has a great record at this track where he has had 5 tries for 3 wins and 2 placings and is 1 for 1 over this distance. Looks ready to fire and well worth an each way play.

Mandurah Friday Race 7 Number 3 Ballistic Blue (No Fixed Odds yet available) Handy chaser who had his first try over this distance at this track last week when an all the way winner in a best of night time of 27.87. Meets a field void of any early pace and gets his chance to lead throughout again. Other good chances on the night look to be 3-7 Catalonia, 6-4 Max Profit and 4-8 Abba Monelli each way.
